Meet Jen - Certified Yoga Teacher, Meditation Teacher and Counsellor
Jen Fisher BA, MS, CYT-200
Jen established Willow Mindful Yoga to provide adults, families and children with the benefits of a fun, engaging yoga and mindfulness practice.
Jen completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with My Vinyasa Practice, accredited by Yoga Alliance, and her Children’s Yoga Teacher Training through YogaMoo, accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals. Jen is also a certified Meditation Teacher. Jen has a Masters of Science in Counsellor Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication Design. In addition to her training and education, she has years of experience as a student of yoga and meditation in studios in Massachusetts, Oregon and California, USA, as well as most recently in the UK.
With a professional background in mental health and education, Jen understands the value of mindfulness, self awareness and confidence, all of which can be gained through Yoga.
Jen is able to hold space and create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Whilst priding herself as a calm, creative and passionate professional, Jen is a kid at heart. Whether guiding students through an energetic vinyasa flow class, incorporating yoga philosophy into guided meditations or using props, stories and fun themes in her children’s classes, the love for yoga is always present in her practice.
